Cheers to summer and for a great little breakfast cocktail that can be made either alcoholic or non-alcoholic. At For The Love of Breakfast we wanted to start exploring some cocktails, because after all, what is brunch without a drink? Expect to see some more cocktail recipes coming soon. We have had a great time making them and an even better time taste-testing them. The best part about this sweet, refreshing drink is that you can sub out the prosecco with soda water and it tastes just as good.
Ingredients
4 ripe plums
1 tablespoon clear honey
1 extra plum , stoned and sliced
soda water or prosecco
mint leaf and edible celosia to garnish
Method
Place the chopped plums and honey into a blender
Blend until smooth
Strain through a sieve
Pour into a serving glass
Add some of the sliced plum
Over the back of a spoon, pour over the soda water or prosecco
Add ice cubes and garnish
