Oh hey there sunshine! Start the day off right with this super simple egg pastry. This delicious treat takes no more than a few minutes to prepare and is a real crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
- 1 Sheet frozen puff pastry
- 4 large cage free eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit and line baking sheet with parchment paper
- Roll out pastry and cut into four circles about 4 inches in diameter
- Place circles on the baking sheet and score a circle bored about half an inch from the edge of each circle
- Bake the pastry for about eight minutes or until the edges have risen
- Remove puff pastry from oven and crack egg in center of each circle
- Place back in oven and bake for another ten to twelve minutes or until egg is cooked to liking
- Add salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately
