Sometimes we get a little elaborate here at For The Love of Breakfast and make some pretty fancy meals to start the day! We know that most times (even on the weekends) it’s hard to spare the time to fuss with food. But, we still want something to serve that is tasty, healthy and appealing to the eye. We have posted about avocado on toast before, but this time we made it even simpler. This Avocado and Tomato on Toast recipe is the ultimate crowd pleaser, and takes mere minutes to prepare. Enjoy!
Ingredients
3?cherry tomatoes, sliced
1/2 avocado
1 slice multigrain Vienna bread, toasted
2 teaspoons chia seeds
Spinach to garnish
Method
Place the slice of toasted multigrain bread onto a serving plate
Place the sliced tomatoes on top
Now the slices of avocado
Sprinkle the chia seeds over the top
Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish with the spinach leaves
